- I'm an academic librarian (a cataloger) now, but I spent a good many years in a public library in a previous life! I'm also a proud grandma to a beautiful little girl and 4 wonderful little boys--all of whom love libraries. I was very interested in the political process during the recent campaign, and I hope to maintain that level of interest. I'm also interested in the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life, since I was diagnosed with breast cancer just after I finished the 23 Things last spring. Luckily, things went well and I am currently disease free.
